This is a sports unit unlike most others...explore why sports are so connected to culture, pride and community, what makes a sport a sport, and the impact that sports have on society, identity, education and relationships.  In around 100 pages, you'll address equality, economy, health, entertainment and more.  This is a "sports" unit that doesn't leave any of your students out...even the chillest of couch potatoes. Language focus is sports related vocabulary, values and the present subjunctive with scaffolded alignment to the AP exam.
