Day 8! Pan dulce

Updated for 2025, this task rocks! It included an Instagram post for interpretive understanding PLUS suggestions to add presentational communication, a recipe video AND is now updated with the history and a game.

We love this task for a number of reasons:

1) it's a cheap and easy to find merienda

2) it demonstrates Italian migration to South America and the connection between the countries en el Cono Sur.

3) it's engaging...not just to the students but of all senses!
