C: La casa es mi hogar

A 110+ page novice level thematic unit investigating the aspects that make a house a home, what homes are like in the target culture and the importance of family in shaping our identity. There is significant focus on the non-material things that create homes from dwellings. Optional focus on homelessness as a cultural comparison. Language functions continue to spiral grammatical constructions (gustar) descriptions of the home, relationships and family members (adjectives), and present tense verb conjugations. Cultural focus on the diversity of both dwellings, familial structure and members' roles around the globe.
