I: Cruzando Fronteras

Cruzando Fronteras is a 100+ page, awareness-packed, multi-cultural unit that answers the question Why do people cross borders? Though there is heavy emphasis on immigration, other subthemes reflect on study abroad, moving to new regions, reasons why people migrate, challenges, and best of all, the cultural development - linguistic, artistic and gastronomic (among others) - that make communities even richer. The social justice focus of this unit is clear and important and is an excellent follow up to Viajar nos cambia la vida and a perfect precursor to La desigualdad se debe erradicar.
